Robber punches worker outside Findlay Village Mall

FINDLAY, OH (Toledo News Now) -
A man was assaulted and nearly robbed late Saturday night outside the Findlay Village Mall. Police are still looking for the suspect.
 
It happened around 11:20 p.m. outside a restaurant at the mall on Tiffin Avenue.
 
According to Findlay, a restaurant employee was locking up for the night when the robbery suspect approached him, punched him and demanded money.
 
The victim told police the robber chased him from the business to the lighted parking lot of the mall. The victim told the suspect he knew who he was. 
 
Police say the suspect then ran off in the direction of Plaza Street.
 
The victim's injuries were not severe.
 
No weapons were displayed during the robbery. The incident is still under investigation.
