PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Two photographers from Phoenix have captured amazing aerial images of Arizona.

Matthew DeYoung and Justin Swartzentruber sent a GoPro camera up about 100,000 feet into space and snapped away.

"We were absolutely amazed by what we saw," the pair said.

They launched it from Mammoth and tracked it down to Maricopa.

The pair said they also sent up a few Lego astronaut mini-figures and a couple of American flags.

The photos and other pictures from their recent travels will be on display at Elevate Coffee at Norterra. Opening night on Aug. 9 will feature live music and coffee from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
