TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -  A road closure in Marana this morning could affect residents commute over the next couple of days.

This closure could become a headache for drivers who are not paying attention.  Beginning Tuesday night at 6 p.m., crews will close Tangerine from Interstate 10 to Dove Mountain Boulevard.

That is several miles of road that will be closed in both directions, east and west.  This closure is due to the Union Pacific Railroad working on crossing repairs.

The best way to get around this closure is by using Twin Peaks Road or Cortaro Road.  There will be traffic control devices out, as well as detour signs.

Tangerine Road will remain closed from I-10 to Dove Mountain from 10 a.m. to Tuesday at noon.
