    Last week Border Patrol agents seized more than $1 million in marijuana, as suspects attempted to smuggle it across the border into the U.S. In a recent release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, agents with the Ajo Station, stopped three suspected smuggling attempts on Sept. 11.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Southern Arizona is now home to a team of baseball champions.  

The Nogales Intermediate Little League team will be coming home with some hardware today and are scheduled to arrive at 5 p.m. today.  

Monday night they were crowned Little League World Series Champs in California.  It was in the third inning that the bats for Nogales got hot. With two on Dustin Bermudez went yard, a three run home and it was on. 

From then on it was a rout, ten unanswered runs for the team, they beat Puerto Rico 11 to 4. 

The newly crowned champs will arrive at Tucson International Airport this evening.
