Fire put out in northwest side mobile home

MARANA, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Northwest Fire is looking into what started a fire inside a mobile home near Thornydale and Orange Grove.

Firefighters got a call just after 3 p.m. to the 6300 block of North Mango Way, after a passerby noticed smoke and flames, according to NWFD Capt. Adam Goldberg.

Northwest Fire crews say they arrived within five minutes, and they brought it under control in 14 minutes. It had significant damage from the flames, smoke and heat.

The owner was not at home at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
