    Under the program, the city will choose several large intersections to become protected left. That means left turns would be made only on a green arrow.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Motorists on Valencia Road should expect delays Thursday and Friday as transportation crews pave part of the roadway.

Construction will take place on East Valencia Road near South Craycroft Road, specifically along the Union Pacific Railroad bridge. Both east and westbound traffic will be shifted to accommodate paving work from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Plan for extra drive time during this work. The posted speed limit in this area is 25 miles per hour. Slow down and drive carefully.
