Why did Cracker Barrel fire Brad's wife? It's really no one's business, other than Brad's and his wife's, but that hasn't stopped people around the world from demanding answers after a Harrison County, IN, man publicly asked the restaurant chain why his wife Nanette was let go from her job at the Cracker Barrel in Corydon.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Three red jerseys.

The first real indication of the pecking order in race to start at quarterback for the Arizona Wildcats was made clear at Saturday night’s practice open to media and members of the athletic department’s Wildcat Club.

Anu Solomon, Jesse Scroggins and Connor Brewer came out for the full pads practice wearing red jerseys.

The rest of the quarterbacks, Jerrard Randall, Brandon Dawkins, and others were in the traditional white fare.

And although head coach Rich Rodriguez said afterward that it could be three completely different quarterbacks wearing red jerseys come Monday, that’s not likely.

Anu Solomon worked primarily with the first team as he has done for most of the first week of Fall Camp. Rodriguez and quarterbacks coach Rod Smith lauded the progress he’s made since the end Spring.

“He doesn't get too flustered which is a good thing, but I'm trying to get him flustered,” Rodriguez said.

It makes sense that Solomon is being given the chance to win the job. He’s Rich Rod’s quarterback - the first one this staff recruited. If he could win the job, Arizona would likely have their starter in camp for the next three season.

All that said, I personally still think it’s going to be Scroggins who wins this thing.

I can’t see UA starting a freshman, and I believe Scroggins just has more tools in his arsenal right now.

This team needs someone who’s a threat to run out of the backfield and that’s Scroggins.

Clearly the week has taken a toll on the transfer Randall from LSU.

“He’s been lost the last couple of days.” Smith said. “He’s in that storm where he’s trying to fight his way out of it.”

The Wildcats will not practice on Sunday but they will hold meetings. The race from QB1 continues on Monday night.
