Man in weekend car crash dies at hospital

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A man involved in a car crash at Golf Links and Camino Seco over the weekend died on Wednesday.

Frank Galpin, 81, turned left at the intersection in front of a Chevrolet pickup at a yellow light when the two cars collided, according to Tucson Police Sgt. Chris Widmer.

Officials said Galpin was taken to the hospital around 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 9 with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, but died on Aug. 13. Next of kin were notified.
