Amphitheater district offering discounts for seniors

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Amphitheater school district is offering discount cards to senior citizens to see athletic and fine arts events at Amphitheater schools at the student price, according to Amphitheater Community Relations Director Mindy Blake.

“This is a terrific way to welcome those who may not normally attend a high school football game or musical,” Superintendent Patrick Nelson said. “The Passport Card is a way to thank them for their support of public education.”

The card is for seniors ages 62 and older.

But many Tucsonans stood in opposition to Bannon’s visit because of his views and ties to Breitbart News, a conservative network. Steve Bannon was the keynote speaker at the Brian Terry Foundation Courage Awards and Benefit Dinner at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort.
