TPD arrests man involved in fatal crash on Tucson's south side

Tucson Police arrested Robert Harrington on Saturday and charged him with second degree murder and four other charges in relation to the fatal car accident that left a woman dead on Thursday, Aug. 14.

According to TPD, Harrington, 33, was driving a 1980 Nissan pickup truck when he crashed into a Freightliner box truck. Harrington has been booked into Pima County Jail. In addition to second degree murder, Harrington was charged with aggravated assault, felony criminal damage, unlawful possession of a narcotic drug and unlawful possession of narcotic paraphernalia.

Police identified 22-year-old Patricia Martinez as the victim of the crash on Friday.
