Six Pac-12 teams ranked in AP preseason top-25 poll

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Arizona Wildcats were not ranked in the AP preseason top-25 poll, but there were six other Pac-12 schools listed.

Oregon, who Arizona defeated last season, was ranked No. 3 nationally and received one first-place vote. UCLA came in at No. 7 in the poll. The Wildcats will face both schools on the road this year.

The Wildcats will be fortunate enough to not play No. 11 Stanford this season.

The USC Trojans came in at No. 15 in the poll. In-state rival Arizona State was ranked 19th, while the Washington Huskies claimed the final spot in the top-25. Arizona will host USC, ASU and UW this season at home in 2014. The 'Cats will also host UNLV, Nevada, California and Colorado at Arizona Stadium.
