    Cochise County motorists who use Davis Road between State Route 80 near Tombstone and Frontier Road, about 5 miles west of US 191, will have to take an alternate route with the Arizona Department of Transportation starting a project there Monday, April 23.

    Have you seen them yet?  The new safety messages - you know those quirky messages you see on the overhead signs.   The Arizona Department of Transportation held a contest to see what Safety Messages people liked best and the results are in.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Construction and lane restrictions start today for several areas across Tucson. It's all to improve pedestrian access citywide.

Tucson city officials say expect lane restrictions and delays in the following locations while crews work to install access ramps and make driveway improvements:

· Alvernon Way from 22nd Street to 33rd Street
· Golf Links Rd from Craycroft Road to Kolb Road
· Broadway from Wilmot Road to Pantano Road
· Craycroft Road from Grant Road to the Rillito River
· Stone Avenue from Wetmore Road to River Road

Crews are expected to work for about two weeks in each location. All construction is scheduled to be finished in early October 2014.
