LSU's season opener against Wisconsin officially sold out

HOUSTON – Lone Star Sports & Entertainment officials announced today that all tickets for the Aug. 30 matchup between No. 13 LSU and No. 14 Wisconsin at the second annual AdvoCare Texas Kickoff in NRG Stadium have been sold.

The two college football powers will kick off at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN. Calling the action in the booth will be Sean McDonough and Chris Spielman with Todd McShay on the sideline.

Wisconsin and LSU have played twice previously, with the Tigers prevailing both times. LSU won, 38-28, on Sept. 25, 1971 in Madison and was victorious again the following season, 27-7, in Baton Rouge.
