The William Mattar Buckle Your Belt School Campaign encourages students to practice seatbelt safety while traveling in a motor vehicle. Auto accidents are serious, and wearing a seatbelt may prevent serious personal injury. Participating in the Buckle Your Belt School Campaign is a simple gesture that only takes a few minutes, but it can make all the difference.

Elementary school teachers are encouraged to register their classroom in the William Mattar Buckle Your Belt Campaign during the month of September. The program is simple. Each registered class will receive a certificate of participation and the chance to win a classroom pizza party.
