InventHelp, founded in 1984, is attempting to submit the Fire Hydrant Dome to interested companies for their consideration and possible feedback.

PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) August 30, 2014

"I am a volunteer firefighter," said an inventor from New York Mills, N.Y. "When the ground is covered with snow, we have to search for fire hydrants and then dig them out in order to use them. To make it easier to find and access a fire hydrant in all conditions, I came up with this."

He developed the FIRE HYDRANT DOME to serve as a protective cover for a fire hydrant. The accessory keeps snow and ice from piling up atop the fire hydrant. This allows the hydrant to be uncovered easily in the event of inclement weather. It also ends the need to search for the hydrant in the event that the ground is covered with snow. The device saves firefighters from having to dig out the hydrant. Furthermore, the invention is designed for ease of use. The invention is patent-pending.

The original design was submitted to the Telemarketing office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
