TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Every UA game I chose a play that I think represents the kind of tough physical football that we all love.
The award for the Wildcats Game 10 miracle win at the Stadium over the Washington Huskies is sophomore defensive back Jarvis McCall (Tampa, FL).
The Floridian missed a pair of games with an injured shoulder but you wouldn't have known that last Saturday the way he brought the pain on the Huskies Deontae Cooper.
In the third quarter, McCall, who normally plays cornerback, was positioned as a deep safety when he read the run and came crashing down into the box to hammer Cooper on a six-yard gain.
It was the most aggressive play this season for the first-year starter who has been up and down at times in his performance for UA.
McCall is currently sixth on the Wildcats' defense in tackles, finishing the Washington game with seven.
