TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police have purchased new motorcycles, sports utility vehicles and speed detection devices thanks to a state grant.
The department purchased more than $250,000 worth of equipment after receiving the grant from the Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety.
That includes six motorcycles and two unmarked SUVs that will be used for DUI enforcement. Police were also able to buy a laser speed detection device.
