Amphitheater schools spread kindness in Tucson

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Tucson area schools are following a new trend in a challenge spread kindness in a new campaign that started at an Amphitheater District school.

The Be Kind Challenge is part of the Ben's Bells education program.

"I decided to initiate the Be Kind Challenge as a way to start off our second year as a Kind Campus with a bang and to spread kindness throughout our school," Lulu Walker Elementary School Principal Michael McConnell said. "Next, I got to thinking about the other schools within our district, the potential of 20 schools committed to performing 1,000 acts of kindness each and how amazing that could be."

So far, schools who participated dumped buckets of kindness notes on the principals' heads.
