Brotherly love with the Phoenix Suns

Brotherly love with the Phoenix Suns

– Forget Philly. Phoenix is now the city of brotherly love. Or at least that should be the Suns new motto.

The Suns signed forwards Marcus Morris and Markieff Morris to multiyear contract extensions.

Markieff received a four year deal worth 32 million dollars while Marcus signed a four year, twenty million dollar extension.

"We are particularly pleased to have reached extension agreements with Marcus and Markieff before the start of training camp," said President of Basketball Operations Lon Babby. "There is an extraordinary bond between these twin brothers; they make each other better players and better men. We take pride in their growth and look forward to their bright futures."

In addition to the Morris twins, the Suns also signed Zoran Dragic, brother of point guard Goran Dragic, to a two year deal worth four million dollars.

“Zoran's will to win and intensity stand out every time he steps on to the court,” said General Manager Ryan McDonough. “He has been a very productive player in Euroleague, ACB and FIBA competitions. He excels defensively and in transition and I think our fans will quickly recognize his passion for the game.”
