Eugene, OR (KOLD) - A little over a year ago the NCAA released a video ranking the nation's loudest stadiums. At the top of list sat LSU's Death Valley. Right beneath it in second place was Oregon's Autzen Stadium.

One can't be completely sure about the validity of those rankings but it is safe to say that the 54,000 seat football palace ain't a quiet venue by any means. When filled to the brim with Duck faithful, Autzen's acoustics have been known to cause a headache or two. It's so loud in there that the noise may seem inhuman, or at least that's the claim from a Michigan State beat writer who accused Oregon of piping in artificial crowd noise during the Ducks win over the Spartans a few weeks back (Oregon of course denied the claim).

Either way, it is within this Thunderdome where Anu Solomon will take to the field Thursday night in his first Pac-12 road game, an event that promises to be about as quiet and serene as a Motley Crüe concert if the concert was turned up to 11 (but then when isn't Motley Crüe turned up to 11?). Will he be prepared to face the wall of sound or will his ear drums shake, rattle, and roll? Our guess...it'll be a little bit of both.
