SCOTTSDALE, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Arizona Men's Basketball Class of 2015 signee Allonzo Trier scored a game-high 33 points in leading Findlay Prep to an 82-69 win over Our Savior New American (NY) at the HoopHall West tournament at Chaparral High School in Scottsdale.

Trier was efficient in all aspects offensively as he shot 9-of-13 from the floor and finished 12-of-16 from the line.

He grabbed seven rebounds and nabbed two steals as Findlay Prep raised their record this season to 14-0.

Trier chose the Wildcats over offers from such high-powered schools as UCLA, Kansas, Louisville and national champion Connecticut.

He's the 17th rated player in ESPN's top 100 for the '15 Class and the highest ranked of the Wildcats' recruits overall.

Arizona's '15 class is currently ranked #1 thanks to commitments by small forward Ray Smith (#24), point guard Justin Simon (#27) and center Chance Comanche (#97).

Findlay Prep also got 20 points and six assists from '16 point guard Derryck Thornton.

Thornton is also on the Wildcats radar and according to Zagsblog.com is expected to visit the UA program for their home game against UCLA on Feb. 21.
