Cats' Hill getting more minutes in 2nd NBA season

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Arizona Basketball alum Solomon Hill ('12) is taking advantage of every opportunity to cement himself as a long term player with the Indiana Pacers.

Hill has started all but one game for Indiana this season at small forward in the absence of all-star Paul George.

The 2012 first round pick is averaging 11 points and five rebounds in 32 minutes per game this season despite shooting just 40 percent from the floor. The Pacers are 14-23 this season after reaching the Eastern Conference Finals the last two seasons.

Hill was the subject of a Sports Illustrated article this week in which he discusses his new role this season with the team and how his time playing at UA under head coach Sean Miller prepared him for the NBA.
