Gem show venue opens downtown, latest on west side homicide

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Happy Sunday!  Here's what we're working on for Tucson News Now, FOX 11, and KOLD News 13.

The major events for the Tucson Gem, Mineral, and Fossil Show kick off in less than a week, but at least one expo is already underway.  Reporter Bud Foster checks in with the American Indian Exposition at the Flamingo Hotel near downtown.

If you're planning ahead to check out the gem show, we have everything you need to know about it on our website.  Just read here.

We are tracking the latest details on a murder on the west side.  Tucson Police say someone discovered a body near I-10 and Miracle Mile, and police now say they are investigating this case as a homicide.  This continues to develop so we will have the latest starting on KOLD News 13 Live at 5:30 pm.

We'll follow up on FOX 11 News at 9 and KOLD News 13 Live at 10!

See you then!
