Candlelight cave tour a unique Valentine's Day date

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -  Looking for a unique way to spend Valentine's Day with your sweetheart? Why not treat them to a candlelight tour of Colossal Cave. 

Colossal Cave is serving up this unique twist on a Valentine's Day standard, candlelight and dinner with your sweetie. The candlelight is required for your cave tour and dinner is served 'Under the Ramada.'

There are two dates to choose from Feb. 13 and 14 at 6 p.m. at $85 per couple or $45 per person. Call (520) 647-7275 or (520) 647-7121 for reservations. The deadline for reservations is 5 p.m. on Feb. 11. 

Dinner includes:  

Fresh garden salad
Mesquite-grilled steak or salmon
Parsley baby red potatoes
Southwestern green beans
Belky's Sweetheart Cherry-Chocolate Cheesecake
No-host Bar (Wine and Beer)

Colossal Cave Mountain Park is located at 16721 E. Old Spanish Trail, Vail.

    Students all around Southern Arizona have been doing their part to help the American Heart Association these last few months. Their outstanding efforts were recognized during the 2018 American Heart Association Heart Walk at Reid Park in Tucson, Saturday night. More than twenty children were applauded for raising around $40,000 for the cause.

    Police responded to a report of a shooting at Cabo del Sol apartments on the southwest side Saturday night, according to a spokesman for Tucson Police Department. The complex is located near W. Drexel Road and S. Midvale Park Road.
