TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Arizona Game and Fish Department will conduct a free fishing clinic from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, February 21.

The event is for beginning to experienced anglers. Loaner fishing rods will be available, as will be bait. No fishing license will be required for those participating in the event, which will be held at Silverbell Lake in Christopher Columbus Park (4600 N. Silverbell Road). 

Registration takes place the day of the event; participants need to sign up at the Arizona Game and Fish table before the event.

Arizona Game and Fish Department has trust responsibility for managing more than 800 native wildlife species – the most of any inland state – for current and future generations of Arizona citizens.

    The female wolf is part of the ongoing reintroduction effort, she was relocated to the Sevilleta Wolf Management Facility in New Mexico where it is reported she is in good health.
