Rachel Williams, a junior from Phoenix, Ariz. and former Pima women's basketball player, led her current team to victory.
Rachel helped the Iowa Wesleyan Tigers close the gap against conference leading Spalding when she led her team to an upset win over Spalding, handing the Golden Eagles their first conference loss of the season. Williams led all scorers in the game with 24 points, going 7-of-8 from the field, and added five assists and three steals. She followed with 16 points, eight assists, and six rebounds in a win over Blackburn two days later. On the week Williams averaged 20.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game while shooting 77.8 percent from the field.
