Martinez couldn't help but laugh hysterically as she walked out to her silver sedan, parked in the empty dirt lot at 383 N. Commerce Park Loop in Tucson, and told the story to Tucson News Now.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Four Southern Arizona teams are in the quarterfinals of the Division II boys state basketball tournament.

2nd seed Cholla won for a 21st straight game Saturday night beating Buena 64-49.

The Chargers will face Arcadia Thursday night at Chaparral High School in Scottsdale.

3rd seed Cienega and 11th seed Nogales will also battle in Scottsdale. The Bobcats beat Tempe 79-69, while the Apaches upset 6th seed La Joya Community 71-64.

Sunnyside is also into the Elite Eight. The Blue Devils also went on the road and came away winners, knocking off Paradise Valley 44-41.

Sunnyside gets the stiffest test of the local group. They will take on top seed Shadow Mountain on Wednesday at Gila River Arena.
