INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The United States will send 13 divers to various stops on the FINA Diving World Series, an invitation-only circuit based on results from the 2014 FINA World Cup.

Two-time Olympian and 2012 Olympic gold medalist David Boudia (Noblesville, Ind./West Lafayette, Ind.) will go to four meets, while four-time Olympian Troy Dumais (Ventura, Calif./Austin, Texas) will attend three World Series meets. Jordan Windle (Morrisville, N.C./Durham, N.C.) also will attend three events, while Steele Johnson (Carmel, Ind./West Lafayette, Ind.), Sam Dorman (Tempe, Ariz./Coral Gables, Fla.), Dwight Dumais (Ventura, Calif./Austin, Texas) and Toby Stanley (Conway, Ark./Durham, N.C.) each will attend two.

2008 Olympian Mary Beth Dunnichay (Elwood, Ind./West Lafayette, Ind.) will return to international competition for the first time since 2011 with one stop on the FINA World Series circuit, and 2012 Olympian Kristian Ipsen (Clayton, Calif./Stanford, Calif.) also will go to one meet. Also selected for one World Series meet are Bradley Christensen (Southlake, Texas/Stanford, Calif.), Bryce Klein(Southlake, Texas/Dallas, Texas), David Dinsmore (New Albany, Ohio/Coral Gables, Fla.) and Delaney Schnell (Tucson, Ariz.).

The U.S. qualified for all stops on the World Series circuit in both men's synchronized events after Boudia and Johnson won bronze in synchronized 10-meter at last year's World Cup, where Boudia and Dorman were fourth in synchronized 3-meter. Although he did not compete the event at the World Cup last year, Boudia was also given an invitation to dive individually on 10-meter at the World Series. The U.S. also will compete women's synchronized 10-meter at one World Series meet after earning an invitation due to Amy Cozad(Indianapolis, Ind./Bloomington, Ind.) and Katrina Young (Shoreline, Wash./Tallahassee, Fla.) finishing eighth at the World Cup.

Synchronized teams can be substituted throughout the World Series circuit. Because of conflicts with availability due to the NCAA season and school schedules and because Boudia has chosen to focus solely on 10-meter this season after doing springboard events a year ago, the U.S. will send teams other than those who qualified to many of the events.
