Road improvement slows a busy south side street

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Road improvement work will slow a portion of Kino Parkway on the south side for about a week.

City of Tucson construction crews will crack seal parts of Kino Parkway between Silverlake Road and the Interstate 10 overpass through Wednesday, April 15. 

The work hours will span from 7:00 a.m. to about 2:00 p.m. Look for lane closures in each direction while this takes place. Drivers can expect slow and go as they head through.

Always drive slowly and carefully while heading through work zones. Look out for construction workers and equipment.
