TUCSON, AZ - The Southern Arizona Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame (NFF-CHOF) held is 18th Annual Awards Banquet Sunday night at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel.
The organization recognized their 2015 Scholar-Athlete Award Recipients. This year's Honorees are:

Tevis is the first player to win the prestigious award as both a high school and Arizona Wildcats senior.
The mission of the Southern Arizona Chapter of the NFF-CHOF is to promote and develop leadership, character and academic excellence through amateur football.
The group annually selects ten graduating senior high school football players and one University of Arizona player as recipients of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame, Scholar-Athlete Scholarship Award.
These eleven outstanding young men are selected on the basis of stringent criteria focusing on citizenship, academic scholarship and athletic achievement.
One of the ten senior high school honorees, will be nominated for the National Football Foundation National High School Scholar-Athlete Award to be presented in December 2015 in conjunction with the 58th Annual National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Dinner at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City.
Former Wildcat and Denver Bronco, Spencer Larsen was the keynote speaker at the event. He is a former UA recipient of the NFF scholar-athlete honor.
