Construction to impact commute on Craycroft Road through May

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Drivers can expect a slower commute on a portion of Craycroft Road in the foothills, while a sewer improvement project takes place.

Crews will shift traffic along north and southbound Craycroft Road, between River Road and The Gregory School. Lanes will move to the east side of the roadway to give construction workers ample room.

Two lanes will be maintained in each direction, but lane width will be reduced and barricades will stay up 24 hours a day through mid May.

Turns will not be affected on River Road or Craycroft Road. Access to The Gregory School will also be maintained at all times.

Plan for extra drive time and move slowly and carefully through the area.
