Arizona Sand VB readies for Red Out

 Tucson, Ariz. - Coming off a second-place finish at the Pac-12 Invitational, the 10th-ranked Arizona sand volleyball team will host Bear Down Beach's first-ever #RedOut as Arizona hosts Arizona State in the final home match of the season. Arizona will honor seniors prior to the game.

The two teams will meet Wednesday at 4:30 pm PT. This will be the third time the two teams have faced each other this season, Arizona is 2-0 in the previous matchups.

This match will be broadcasted LIVE on Pac-12 Networks and live programming is available from select television providers. 

The Wildcats went undefeated in the Sun Devil hosted tournament in Tempe and became the ASU Sand Challenge champions. UA also got a victory against ASU this past weekend in Santa Monica, Calif., as they took the court at the Pac-12 Invitational.

Seniors, Emily Kiser, Madi Kingdon, Taylor Arizobal, Rachel Rhoades, Allie Cook, Kaitlyn Leary, Kendall Polan, and Taylor Lane (Exhibition team) will all be will be honored before this Wednesday's match. The No. 10 Cats will be accompanied by close family members and friends at Bear Down Beach.

Arizona State's seniors Jordy Checkal and Bethany Jorgensen will also be honored and presented with flowers.

Admission to all home sand volleyball matches is free. Fans are also encouraged to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets.

The Wildcats are 15-3 overall while boasting a 7-0 home record.
