Day one of play at the Pac-12 Championships is in the books for University of Arizona women's golf. Hosted by Colorado, the event is being held at Boulder Country Club (par 71, 6,437 yards).
Oregon leads the team race with an even 284. Stanford sits in second with a two-over par 286. UCLA rounds out the top three with a 287 (+3). Arizona sits in fifth place with a 292 (+8). Caroline Ingils of Oregon is the individual leader with a 67 (-4).
Senior Manon Gidali and junior Lindsey Weaver share a nine-way tie for 12th place. Both shot opening rounds of 72 (+1). Senior Kendall Prince and freshman Krystal Quihuis share a seven-way tie for 26th place. Both scored rounds of 74 (+3) on Monday.
Sophomore Wanasa Zhou rounds out the Arizona five. She finished with a 77 (+6) on day one and shares a four-way tie for 42nd place.
Play at the Pac-12 Championships will resume at 10 a.m. MST on Tuesday. Arizona is paired with USC for the second round of play.
