Three members of the University of Arizona women's golf team earned Pac-12 Conference honors, it was announced last week in conjunction with the league championships.
Senior Manon Gidali was named All-Pac-12 First-Team for the second time in her career. She was a first-team honoree as a freshman in 2012 and a second-team award winner in 2013. She's ranked No. 29 by Golfweek and No. 47 by GolfStat.com. Gidali holds a stroke average of 73.03 with 11 rounds shot at or below par.
Junior Lindsey Weaver was named All-Pac-12 First-Team for the second time in her career after earning a nod in 2014. She is ranked No. 24 by Golfweek and No. 42 by GolfStat.com. She leads the Wildcats with a 72.86 stroke average and 12 rounds shot at or below par.
Freshman Krystal Quihuis was named All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention. The only freshman recognized on either team, she holds a stroke average of 73.34, a season-low round of 69 and five top-10 finishes.
It was announced Monday that the Wildcats earned the No. 1 seed at the Notre Dame NCAA Regional Championships. Held at Warren Golf Course in South Bend, play is scheduled for Thurs.-Sat., May 7-9.
