Tombstone comes alive with its 34th annual Wyatt Earp Days, happening on Memorial Day weekend.
The celebration takes place Saturday, May 23 through Monday, May 25 in Tombstone on historic Allen Street and is sponsored by the Tombstone Lions Club. This is a three days of continuous 'action packed' street entertainment. Each day begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m.
Numerous gunfighting groups are scheduled to appear, coming from California, New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma, as well as a few Arizona groups.
Also on the agenda is the annual chili cook off on Saturday, May 23. This event will be held on 5th Street between Allen and Fremont Streets. Chili tasting will take place beginning at 1 p.m.
The Tombstone Lions Club will also be hosting a booth, selling T-shirts and raffle tickets for a replica black powder revolver. Tickets for the revolver are $1 each or six for $5.
All annual net proceeds will be donated to support local youth activities and programs.
