North side road closed for pothole repair

ORO VALLEY, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Drivers on the north side of Tucson will see a closure to take place Thursday, as crews perform road repairs.

Pecos Way will close between Thornydale Road and where it turns into Lambert Lane from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

While this closure is in place, Pima County crews will repair potholes to improve the road overall.  Due to the road's narrow nature and high speed limit, a full closure is necessary for safety reasons.

Travelers should avoid the area while construction takes place. Tangerine Road is a good alternate route.
