Thank You, Seniors! Arizona will honor six seniors this weekend at Hi Corbett Field, though a couple of them may consider to return for a fifth year of eligibility. Catcher Riley Moore, outfielder Tyler Krause and infielder Joseph Maggi will exhaust their four years of athletic eligibility. Also being honored this weekend will be pitchers Mathew Troupe, Xavier Borde and Cody Hamlin, each of whom technically have one more year of athletic eligibility due to redshirt seasons earlier in their careers. The six players will be recognized in a senior ceremony before Saturday's game. Additionally, former pitcher Tyler Crawford, who has underwent Tommy John Surgery last August and has not been on this season's active roster, intends to return for a fifth year as a senior next year.

The Graduates: Last weekend, three Wildcats earned their degrees and graduated from The University of Arizona. Catcher Riley Moore (general studies) and pitchers Cody Hamlin (general studies) and Xavier Borde (psychology) completed their studies this spring, while outfielder Tyler Krause (general studies) and Mathew Troupe (agricultural business and economics) will complete studies this summer.

MLB Draft: The Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft will be held Monday, June 8 through Wednesday, June 10. A handful of current Wildcats are expected to be selected, including junior middle infielders Kevin Newman and Scott Kingery, who will likely be taken in the early rounds. College and high school players drafted have until July 17 to sign with professional organizations.

On Deck: Arizona will begin the 2016 season on the road at Rice University for a three-game series beginning Friday, Feb. 19. It will mark the Wildcats' first season-opening series on the road since 2008, when the club traveled to Georgia and won two of three games in Athens.
