RED ROCK, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Construction should cause lane and ramp closures on Wednesday night, while crews perform paving work on I-10, west of Tucson.
Arizona Department of Transportation crews will pave westbound I-10 just north of Red Rock, from 7 p.m. on Wednesday to 5 a.m. on Thursday. During this time, drivers can expect reduced speeds and lane closures on the highway.
The westbound I-10 on-ramp will also shut down at Red Rock overnight. Travelers can use the westbound I-10 frontage road to the Picacho Peak on-ramp as an alternate here.
This will mainly impact those headed away from Tucson, towards Casa Grande or Phoenix.
ADOT officials would like to remind drivers to slow down and be careful in this and all construction areas.
