2015 Cross Country Schedule Finalized

TUCSON, AZ -

The University of Arizona cross country team is set to begin their 2015 season in Flagstaff, Ariz. at the George Kyte Classic on Saturday, Sept. 5 at noon MST.

There are six regular season meets scheduled for the 2015 campaign along with two home meets. On Friday, Sept. 18, Arizona will host the Dave Murray Cross Country Invitational at Dell Urich Golf Course at 4:30 p.m. MST. Then, on Friday, Oct. 9, the Wildcats will host the U of A Cross Country Twilight at Quincie Douglas Park at 4:30 p.m. MST.

Arizona will travel to Minneapolis, Minn., Louisville, Ky. And Tempe, Ariz. as well in the regular season. The Pac-12 Championships are scheduled for Friday, Oct. 30 in Pullman, Wash. at WSU Palouse Ridge Golf Course. The NCAA West Regionals will take place in Seattle, Wash. at Jefferson Park Golf Course on Friday, Nov. 13. To round out the season, the NCAA Championships will be on Saturday, Nov. 21 at Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.

Last year, the women's team finished in 10th place overall at the NCAA West Regionals, led by senior-to-be Molly Callahan who finished in 39th place individually. The men took 14th place, led by junior-to-be Collins Kibet who finished in 35th place individually.
