The Arizona Wildcats have two softball alum competing in the National Pro Fastpitch league this summer, both playing for the USSSA Pride in Kissimmee, Florida.

Brigette Del Ponte ('13) has the fourth highest batting average in the league at .304.  She's also second in slugging percentage with .739, on base percentage of .385 and home runs with three.

This is Del Ponte's third season in the NPF. She originally started out on the Akron Racers where she batted .278, with 7 homeruns and 18 RBIs. Last season she played with the Pride where she batted .267.

Del Ponte had an illustrious career at Arizona where she finished in 2012 on the All Pac-12 Second Team, Top-20 Watch-list for USA Softball Player of the Year, 2011 NFCA All-American Second Team and 2011 All PAC-10 First Team.

Chelsea Goodacre ('15) is racking in a considerable amount of playing time in her rookie season hitting a .278. She has thrown out three runners from behind the plate and has not committed an error.

Goodacre finished her UA career 5th overall in home runs (71) and 7th in career RBI (240). Goodacre also posted consecutive 20 home run seasons, graduating as a Second Team All-American and a 3-time All Pac-12 First Team selection.
