Los Angeles, CA (KOLD) - P. Diddy will not face assault charges for his encounter with a UCLA assistant football coach, that according to Variety. It remains unclear why the Los Angeles District Attorney's office decided not to pursue charges against the rapper/business mogul.

Diddy was arrested on the UCLA campus June 22nd after he allegedly swung a kettle bell at a member of Jim Mora's staff. Earlier that day,  Bruin strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi kicked Diddy's son Justin off the practice field. Justin Combs is a junior defensive back. A representative for Diddy's company claimed that Diddy was acting in defense of him and his son.

DIddy's case now moves to the CIty's Attorney's Office where the worst he could face is a misdemeanor charge.
