Recreating Lloyd's 55 yarder

Tucson, AZ (KOLD) - Understatement of the day: Carli Lloyd's three goal performance vs. Japan in the Women's World Cup Final was spectacular.

Of course it was. But of those three goals, which will stand the test of time? Easy answer. Her third. The 55.8 yarder that was launched beyond midfield only to cruise over the head of Japan goalie Ayumi Kaihori and into the net. An effort that could not easily be duplicated. Right? Maybe.

Dave Cooney hung out with a couple of FC Tucson Women strikers to see if they could repeat the feat that helped bring Japan down and the World Cup crown stateside.
