Kinney Road closes Sunday for "Run With the Roosters" 5k

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A portion of Kinney Road will close on the far west side on Sunday, as the seventh annual "Run With the Roosters" 5k takes place.

Kinney Road will shut down between Old Tucson Studios (near Gates Pass Road) and Naomi Rd from 4:50 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Sunday, to accommodate more than 400 runners participating in the event. 

Access to the Old Tucson employee parking lot and the Tucson Mountain Rifle and Pistol Range will not be affected by this road closure. 

The road should reopen to all traffic after 7 a.m. Sunday.
