UA hoop alum paints dark picture of Cosby

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Previously unreleased testimony from Arizona Wildcats Basketball alum Andrea Constand ('96) is shedding more light on the sexual escapades of longtime actor and comedian Bill Cosby.

The Associated Press recently obtained a transcript of the civil lawsuit filed by Constand in 2005 against Cosby.

She accuses the star of drugging and molesting her while she was an employee at his alma mater Temple University.

Cosby in the deposition claimed that his contact with Constand was consensual.

Constand played for head coach Joan Bonvicini at UA from 1993-1996.

She was one of the stars of the Wildcats team that won the 1996 National Women's Invitation Tournament with a 79-63 win over Northwestern.

The Canada native is ninth all-time in program history for career three-point shooting percentage (35 percent).

Constand as a senior in 1996 shot 90 percent from the free throw line, best on the Wildcats and her 40 percent three-point shooting percentage is the sixth-best in a single season.
