Jefferson headed to Cleveland

Cleveland, OH - Former Wildcat Richard Jefferson is teaming up with the King.

Jefferson has agreed to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers next season. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that Jefferson will sign a one-year deal worth the veteran's minimum of more than $1.4 million.

Jefferson had originally agreed to a one-year deal with his team, the Dallas Mavericks, but after the Mavericks were unable to lock down DeAndre Jordan (who re-signed with the Clippers), the organization gave the 14-year vet the opportunity to look elsewhere.
