McDonald’s Red-Blue Game Set for Oct. 17

TUCSON, Ariz. – University of Arizona men’s basketball fans will get their first look at the 2015-16 Wildcats on Saturday, Oct. 17, when the reigning Pac-12 regular season and tournament champions hold the annual McDonald’s Red-Blue Game at McKale Center.

The time of the event has yet to be determined, and will not be set until a time is confirmed for that day’s Arizona-Colorado football game in Boulder so Arizona Athletics officials can be sure the two events do not conflict.

Online ticket sales for the 2015 McDonald’s Red-Blue Game will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5, via arizonawildcats.com. All ticket sales will take place online until Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 9 a.m. MST, when fans may also purchase any remaining tickets in person at the McKale Center Ticket Office or over the phone at (520) 621-CATS.

Advance ticket prices are $10 for adults and $7 for youth. All seats for the McDonald’s Red-Blue Game are general admission.

Led by seniors Kaleb Tarczewski and Gabe York, the Wildcats return seven letterwinners from the 2014-15 team that went 34-4, claimed both the Pac-12 regular season and tournament titles, and advanced to the program’s second-consecutive Elite Eight. In addition to gaining the services of Kadeem Allen and Ryan Anderson following a redshirt year for each, Arizona is also welcoming ESPN’s fourth-ranked recruiting class to campus this summer.
