Police identify Phoenix woman found beheaded

PHOENIX, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Phoenix Police have identified the woman who was allegedly beheaded Saturday by her husband, who also decapitated two dogs, according to our sister station KPHO-TV.

Police say a concerned neighbor called 911 after he hadn't seen Trina Heisch for a couple of days. He said when he knocked on the door to check on her and a naked man answered. He told police that he could see blood everywhere.

Police arrived and found Heisch in a closet inside the Phoenix home she shared with the suspect, who has not yet been identified by police.

Heisch's daughter posted on a GoFundMe page that, "all I know is my mom was always there when anyone needed her. The loss of her has affected all who knows her. Thank you everyone for your donations and prayers for support."
