Cats' grad Hill popped for driving way too fast

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Indiana Pacers have confirmed that forward Jordan Hill (UA ’09) was arrested this week in Atlanta for reckless driving.

“It is obvious we don't condone this,” said Pacers president Larry Bird in a statement. “We will address this with Jordan. This is a major concern of safety, not just for Jordan, but for others."

Hill this off season signed a one-year $5 million free agent contract with the Pacers. He played parts of the last 4 seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, averaging 12 points and eight rebounds in 2014-15.

Hill scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as a junior for Arizona in 2008-09, leaving after that season to enter the NBA where he was 8th overall pick in the first round.
