Eletise likes UA's fit

HONOLULU (Hawaii News Now) -

Over the past year schools from all over the country have flooded the mailbox of Michael Eletise hoping to convince Hawaii's most coveted high school football prospect to join their program next fall,

Kaiser's four-star offensive guard put an end to the speculation this week when he announced that he's headed to Tucson, Arizona to suit up for the Arizona Wildcats.

Eletise told me heading into the weekend he was still considering Arizona State, and the University of Washington as well -- but ultimately Arizona fit his needs both academically and athletically.

The Cougars o-linemen had been offered by 42 division one schools since last fall and did not take any official visits before deciding on the Cats.

Eletise said he made the decision to announce his choice now so that he can focus on the upcoming football season and his academics.
