Update: Latest Magee Rd paving schedule

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Phase three of Magee Road widening work, which kicks off this week, is set to cause overnight traffic snarls.

Pima County Crews will realign medians at Oracle Road and Magee Road from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Thursday, August 6. While this work takes place, workers will close one lane of traffic in each direction of Oracle Road, according to a press release.

The rest of the paving schedule should play out as follows:

August 10-13: Paving set to start on driveways, side streets and multi-use paths along Magee Road. This will also impact driveways and medians on Oracle Road.

August 30 - September 3: Paving will slow traffic at the intersection of Oracle Road and Magee Road.

September 8 - 11: Paving on Magee Road from La Canada Drive to Oracle Road. This work will include half day closures of south and northbound Northern Avenue at Magee Road.

Traffic on Magee Road should shift accordingly for paving procedures.
